This International workshop is organized as part of the work of the Heritage Living Lab Project in Luxor, we are excited to bring this innovative approach to the heart of Cairo, in collaboration between Ain shams University, Egypt and the University of Lincoln, UK.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Over two days, we will explore the narratives and perceptions of local communities towards their heritage and discuss strategies for preserving and documenting it for future generations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The first day will take us on a guided tour through parts of the iconic Fatimid Cairo, where we will visit historic landmarks and engage with local experts &amp; craftsmen to gain insights into the city&#8217;s layered history.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On the second day, we will convene at the ASU campus to delve deeper into the theoretical and practical aspects of heritage preservation, with keynote speakers who are leading experts in the field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This workshop presents a rare opportunity to learn from and network with peers and professionals from around the world, who share a passion for heritage and cultural sustainability.
